Join us for the 2nd Annual
CLINICIAN LEADERSHIP FORUM
Continuing to Grow Where We Are Planted
As a social emotional leader, you know the work is never-ever done. This includes the work of being willing to be vulnerable enough to continue to grow and change as professionals. This vulnerability is where we can deepen our leadership skills, improve our critical thinking skills, and find the courage and strength it takes to lead the giant work of systems change, wherever you are planted.

This event was previously titled Clinician "Learning" Forum, and is
for social workers, psychologists, counselor, and administrators.
This day is for all clinicians, including those who participated last year!

April 8-9, 2019
8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Naperville | Carbondale | Springfield
3 locations to choose from in North, Central, & Southern IL!

Please join us at our 2nd annual clinician-leadership forum. We will have two full days together. The first day will be only clinicians, and on the second day clinicians will be accompanied by their building leader. In addition to the Midwest PBIS Network Staff and Michael Kelly from Loyola University Chicago, we will have social workers who are participating in our professional learning community present on their current projects around defining crisis and workload/caseload.

In addition to focusing on leadership skills, topics over the two days will include:
    • Re-visiting the ‘true’ meaning of social work
    • Understanding the continuum of change
    • Asking the ‘right’ questions, and increasing critical thinking skills
    • Integrating and welcoming mental health support staff as they work directly on-site in schools
    • Partnering with community agencies
    • Self-care for you, and a vision of supporting staff with self-care
    • GENEROUS amount of systems-change planning time with your administrator on day two
The following articles are suggested reads to provide an overview of the the Role of the Clinician in a multi-tiered system of support.
